OHA Edmonton (5) vs Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (6/OT) U15
The opening game at Edge School today featured OHA Edmonton and Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy, both teams coming in having won their first of the weekend yesterday. OHA Edmonton bested STAR 18-1 on Friday, but come Saturday, CDA provided a much more formidable opponent. Jagger Clark (2G, 2A) scored an early shorthanded goal to put the Wings in front, but OHA Edmonton’s second period saw them settle into their game. Three goals in less than six minutes saw OHAE sprint to a 4-2 lead, an advantage they’d hoped would have held. That wasn’t the case, though, thanks to TJ Podollan (3G, 1A) and Jagger Clark going to work again. Both players scored powerplay goals on either side of the second intermission to tie the game up, and with things square, Podollan scored again to break through and give CDA the lead back. Coeur d’Alene led into the last four minutes, but an OHAE powerplay levelled things back up, sending the game into overtime tied at five. One minute of split possession and chances led to Podollan grabbing the puck again, and his dash into the offensive zone led to a perfect shot and finish to complete Podollan’s hat-trick and CDA’s overtime victory.
BWC Academy (5) vs Delta Hockey Academy (4) U17
Saturday’s U17 clash between BWC Academy and Delta Hockey Academy ostensibly broke down into three distinct contests: one dominated by BWC, one dominated by DHA, and an evenly-fought third period. The first period belonged to BWC, with the Lions making good on one of their three power plays and grabbing two goals from Max Joseph (2G) to lead 3-0 into the second period. Delta Hockey Academy grabbed momentum right off the bat in the second period and wouldn’t take long in their quest to make meaningful inroads back. Goals ten seconds apart from Benjamin Rustia and Sam Hioe dragged Delta back in a flash, and within eight minutes of the second period, Delta had tied the game at three. DHA outshot BWC 23-6 in the second period alone, but they couldn’t steal the lead, and BWC struck back late in the second. Daniel Trifunovic scored his first goal since December to give BWC a 4-3 lead heading into the third period. Kaz Westcott (1G, 2A) already registered two assists in the first two periods, but he’d score with barely eight minutes left in the third to extend BWC’s lead to 5-3, a two-goal cushion that proved enough in this topsy-turvy game. Brady Olson scored late to pull Delta back within one, but Delta couldn’t come all the way back, and BWC held on to win 5-4.
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (2) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (10) U17
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg and the Northern Alberta Xtreme’s U17 squads play a three-game series this weekend in Devon. While RHAW gave NAX all they could handle on Friday, pushing the hosts to the brink of a game the Xtreme would win 6-4, Saturday was a different story. Defenceman Ethan Candlish (3G) scored twice in the first half of the first period for NAX to set them on their way, and any chance RINK Winnipeg had was nullified by an excellent and lethal NAX powerplay. Northern Alberta went 4/5 on the powerplay in the game, with Candlish completing his hat-trick and Holter Lefthand (2G, 1A) picking up two goals of his own. NAX put up six goals in the third to score double-digits in the win.
Prairie Hockey Academy (10) vs STAR Hockey Academy (3) U15
Prairie Hockey Academy fell at the hands of Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy in the first of their weekend on Friday, looking ahead to Saturday’s clash with STAR for the opportunity to snatch up a win from the showcase in Calgary. Prairie bested STAR back in November, kicking off a 21-game losing skid that STAR suffered from heading towards another clash with PHA, starting with a mostly stagnant first period. Maguire Lepp (1G, 1A) scored the only goal of the first for Prairie, but in the second, the game blew wide open. The gas in STAR’s tank was noticeably low in the game’s back half, with Prairie outshooting STAR 17-4 in the third period alone. PHA’s damage was led by Lucas Duchscherer (3G, 4A), earning one goal and three primary assists in the second period to fracture PHA’s opponents, and would only twist the knife in the third. Duchscherer picked up another primary assist in the third and scored two more to complete his hat-trick, bringing his point total in the game to seven. Duchscherer’s dominance led the way for Prairie to win 10-3.
Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (3) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (6) U15
The Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy’s U15 squad isn’t one that normally competes in the CSSHL, but travelled North this weekend to compete in the showcase in Calgary. Unfortunately for the Wild, they’d already been bested twice in the first two of their four-game weekend schedule prior to their Saturday morning clash with RHAK, a game in which they’d cause Kelowna some serious headaches. Hunter McIntosh scored in the second period to tie the game, and Connor Stump pulled Wenatchee within a goal in the middle frame, but surrounding those positive moments from Wenatchee, RHAK lifted themselves to victory. Sylas Goodale and Jett Menzies scored two goals apiece for RINK Kelowna as RHAK pulled clear of Wenatchee in the third to win comfortably.
BWC Academy (3) vs Delta Hockey Academy (10) U17 Prep
The first period of Saturday’s game between BWC Academy and Delta Hockey Academy in the U17 Prep division today was as tightly-fought as the game would get. BWC outshot Delta 14-9 and emerged from the first period in a 1-1 tie, but in the second, the game tilted astronomically. The stat line reads the shots on goal as 38-5 in the second period in favour of Delta Hockey Academy, and DHA made good on that dominance to sprint away from BWC. Delta grabbed two more in the third and got five or more points out of three players, led by a hat-trick from Ethan Kitchen (3G, 3A) and five points apiece from Brady Oatman (2G, 3A) and Beckett Matlock (1G, 4A).
Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (3) vs Yale Hockey Academy (5) U17 Prep
A 3-1 loss at the hands of Okanagan Hockey Academy on February 6 remains the lone blemish on Yale Hockey Academy’s U17 Prep record in 2026, with Yale having won nine of ten since the turn of the new year. A 4-0 win over Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy on Friday was Yale’s ideal start to the weekend, but on Saturday, CDA gave Yale a much tougher task. Yale took the lead three different times in the first two periods, but every time, CDA came back and found themselves the equalizer. Trae Alexander (2G) saw his 3-2 goal nullified by Gavin Payne (3G) completing his hat-trick late in the second, with Payne having scored all three tying goals, but in the third, Alexander would strike a blow that didn’t have a response. Alexander’s second of the game gave Yale a 4-3 lead that they’d extend with an empty-netter, winning a thriller to knock off CDA for the second consecutive day.
Edge School (5) vs Notre Dame Hounds (2) U17
The start of the weekend for Edge School’s U17 squad didn’t divert much from the plan Egde have consistently executed this season so far, with Edge School’s control of both ends of the game ending in a 2-0 win over the Notre Dame Hounds. It took some time for Edge to finally score on Friday, but two in the third carried them to victory, and the Mountaineers looked to do it again on Saturday. The plot twisted in the first half of the game, with Notre Dame’s Devin Doyle (1G, 1A) scoring the lone goal of the first and Hunter Eberle doubling the Hounds’ lead before the game was half over. Needing to climb out of the hole, Edge School reignited hope with just over five minutes left in the second, cutting the Notre Dame lead to 2-1 through two. Curtis Troeger (3G) scored his first of three third-period goals to tie the game up early in the period, and come the last half of the third, Edge School had taken over control. Ben MacBey gave Edge School their first lead of the game before Troeger popped in to score two more goals, extending Edge School’s lead to 5-2 and completely turning around their previous two-goal deficit.
Calgary International Hockey Academy (7) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (3) U17 Prep
Three losses in four U17 Prep January games for the Calgary International Hockey Academy were a run of form CIHA have been successful in leaving in the rearview mirror in February so far, winning both of their first two games last weekend. CIHA bested NAX in their only previous U17 Prep clash this season, but come Saturday, it looked like a very different contest for Calgary. NAX scooped up the first two goals of the game, but late in the first, CIHA would score twice in less than two and a half minutes to square the game back up. Tied 2-2 through one, the second period wouldn’t see either team emerge with the lead, as Nash Weyland tied the game at three for NAX through two. The third period, unfortunately for NAX, saw Calgary blow the game wide open. They’d hold NAX to just six third-period shots, and themselves charge the other way to score four times. CIHA’s seven goals came from seven different goal scorers, with 14 skaters picking up points in the 7-3 win.
Notre Dame Hounds (4) vs North Shore Warriors (2) U15
The Notre Dame Hounds’ U15 squad came close to picking up a win on Friday night, eventually falling at the hands of the Pacific Coast Sea Devils in a hard-fought affair. That loss left the Hounds still in search of their first win since December 9, heading towards a clash with the North Shore Warriors on Saturday. The Warriors earned more scoring chances than the Hounds in the game, outshooting Notre Dame 38-22 in the game and 16-3 in the third period alone, but Notre Dame did the necessary damage. Creighton Ellis scored the only goal of the first to give Notre Dame the lead before David Beaton’s first of the season and Abel Goodwin’s powerplay goal extended the Hounds lead to 3-0 before the second period was half over. In the hole, North Shore slammed hard on the gas pedal in an effort to come from behind. They’d succeed in making it a game again, but down 3-2 with the goalie pulled, Notre Dame managed to add an empty-net goal to seal the win, only their second of the U15 season.
Okanagan Hockey Academy (6) vs Delta Hockey Academy White (4) U15
Delta Hockey Academy White’s U15 squad came into this weekend having won nine straight games, but losses on Thursday and Friday have shown DHAW’s vulnerability, which would be further exploited on Saturday by OHA. After a 2-0 lead through one, OHA scored two goals in 33 seconds early in the second period to spring to a 4-0 lead, eventually holding a 6-1 advantage through two. Delta White pushed back in the third, finally getting some offence flowing, but the deficit was too large for OHA to be realistically threatened. Lance Bryant and Max Chen ended the game with two goals apiece, and OHA’s Kristian Bowen (1G, 4A) mammoth five-point outing helped lift OHA over DHAW 6-4.
Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (5/OT) U17 Prep
Pilot Mound pushed RHA Winnipeg far deeper than their previous meetings suggested, but the home side completed the comeback in overtime as Markus Knaub (1G, 1A) buried the winner 3:18 into the extra frame to give RINK Winnipeg a 5–4 victory. PMHA’s power play carried them early, striking three times in the opening 25 minutes with goals from Chadrick Schulz (1G), Maddox Ramage (1G, 2A) and Adam Zamecnik (1G, 1A), while Gage Brennan (1G) added insurance late in the second to build a 4–2 lead despite being heavily outshot. RHA Winnipeg, who entered the night 2–0 against Pilot Mound this season with a dominant 13–2 goal differential, stormed back in the third as Ryder Lilly (1G) scored his first of the year and Brady Filmon (2G, 2A) tied the game with 8:17 remaining. Overtime belonged to RINK Winnipeg, who finished with a staggering 59–22 shot advantage, but PMHA stayed alive thanks to a brilliant 53‑save effort from Gavin Hildebrand (53/58) before Knaub ended it. Miller Fettes (18/22) earned the win for RHA, who improved to 3–0 in the season series.
Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (2) vs Yale Hockey Academy (4) U18 Prep
Yale completed the weekend sweep with a 4–2 win Saturday, building a three‑goal cushion through forty minutes before holding off a late push. Gunho Choi (2G) opened the scoring midway through the first and doubled the lead early in the second, sandwiched around a power play marker from Jonathan Bitonti (1G) as YHA carried a 3–0 advantage into the third while outshooting CDA 37–13. Coeur d’Alene, looking to snap a five‑game skid, finally broke through when Matej Bydzovsky (1G, 1A) scored 3:20 into the third and Gavin Smith (1G) added his seventh of the season moments later to make it a one‑goal game. But Parker McMillan’s first of the year, in U18 Prep, restored the two‑goal lead with 7:43 remaining, sealing the win for Yale. Sam Trnecka (50/54) kept Coeur d’Alene competitive despite a 54–22 shot deficit, while Parker Kulmatycki (20/22) earned the victory in net for YHA.
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (2) vs Delta Hockey Academy (4) U18 Prep
Delta made it two straight in the season series with a 4–2 win Saturday, overcoming an early goal against and pulling away late in a tight special‑teams battle. Pacific Coast struck just 11 seconds in as Elliott Hill buried his 23rd of the year, but Delta answered with two in the back half of the first, Conor Nicolson (1G, 1A) tying it at 10:44 before Dylan Hurren’s seventh of the season with three seconds left sent DHA into the intermission up 2–1. After a scoreless second, Jack Morgan pushed the lead to two just a minute into the third, though PCHA responded on the power play as Ethan Naus cut the deficit to 3–2. Delta closed the door from there, and Luke Anderson’s power play marker with two minutes remaining sealed the win. Matthew Wong (32/33) was sharp in net, outdueling Parker Parrish (29/33).
Calgary International Hockey Academy (6) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (3) U18 Prep
Calgary International Hockey Academy stayed perfect against Northern Alberta this season with a 6–3 win Saturday, pulling away late after a tight, penalty‑filled matchup. Aedan McCarry opened the scoring midway through the first before NAX answered through Luka Samu, but CIHA took control in the second as James Matheos struck on the power play and Mason Moran (3G) added another man‑advantage marker to make it 3–1 after forty minutes. Northern Alberta Xtreme pushed back early in the third with a power play goal from Teagen Bouchard, only for Moran to respond 1:53 later and restore the two‑goal cushion. Walker Filewich extended the lead to 5–2 moments after, and although Derek Langkow cut into the deficit with 5:39 remaining, Moran completed the hat‑trick with an empty‑netter in the final minute. Both teams finished with 29 shots, but Braxton Gibson (26/29) outdueled Karter Gibson (23/28) as Calgary improved to 3–0 against NAX on the season.
Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (2) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (9) U17 Prep
RINK Kelowna overwhelmed Wenatchee from the opening shift and never eased off the throttle, skating to a 9–2 win behind a wave of multi‑point performances and a 62‑shot onslaught. Mason Alexander (2G, 1A) set the tone early with his sixth of the season, and although Wenatchee briefly answered on a power play strike from Ryder Mose (1G), RHA Kelowna erupted for three goals in a 2:24 span, Alexander again, Aiden Andrews (2G, 1A), and Kaius Millan (2G, 3A), to take full control before the first intermission. The second period brought more of the same as Millan added his second, Kaustav Pradeep (1G, 1A) scored off a clean passing sequence, and Alexander Sharman (1G, 3A) pushed the lead to 8–2 just 19 seconds after Wenatchee’s lone even‑strength goal. Andrews’ second of the night on the power play capped an eight‑goal outburst through forty minutes, and Griffin Hoy (1G) added one more in the dying seconds of the third to finish the rout. Matthew Palmer (23/25) earned the win with a steady performance, while Mikai Mast (53/62) battled through a relentless barrage for Wenatchee, who remain winless on the season.
Selwyn House School (5) vs Okanagan Hockey Ontario (1) East U17 Prep
Selwyn House shook off a slow start and overpowered Okanagan Ontario Academy with a four‑goal second period on their way to a 5–1 win. OHO struck first when Ian Rowsell (1G) buried his sixth of the year five minutes in, but that would be the extent of their offense as Selwyn House took full control in the middle frame. Jackson Pitfield (1G) tied it 2:10 into the second, and just 25 seconds later Aadi Patel (1G) put his team ahead for good. The floodgates stayed open as John Chatzis (1G) made it 3–1 and Joel Downey (1G, 1A) added a late strike to cap a period where Selwyn outshot OHO 18–5 and flipped the game on its head. Michael Paliotti’s (1G, 1A) power play marker midway through the third pushed the lead to four, sealing it for Selwyn House. Francis Paradis (24/25) was steady when called upon, while Nico Vaillancourt (39/44) faced a relentless 44‑shot barrage at the other end.
North Shore Warriors (1) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (7) U17
Okanagan rolled to a 7–1 win Saturday, riding a four‑goal explosion from Cole Schellenberg (4G, 1A) and another five‑point night from Nathan Marques (2G, 3A). Schellenberg opened the scoring late in the first, doubled the lead early in the second, and helped set up Marques’ 41st of the year as OHA carried a 3–0 advantage into the third. The flood came quickly after the break as Schellenberg completed the hat‑trick on the power play, Hudson Wicharuk (1G) added another man‑advantage marker, and Schellenberg struck again just 2:09 later before Marques capped the run with his second of the night. Grayson Hunter (1G) broke the shutout bid with six minutes left. It was Okanagan’s third straight win over North Shore this season, outscoring them 15–2 over the weekend and showing exactly why they sit near the top of the division.
St. George’s School (2) vs Yale Hockey Academy (10) U15
Yale overwhelmed St. George’s from the opening minute and never let the game breathe, skating to a 10–2 win powered by a first‑period avalanche that decided everything before the night even settled in. RJ Livingson (1G, 1A) and Carson Maclean (1G, 2A) struck on back‑to‑back power plays just 36 seconds apart, and from there it was all downhill, Daniel Valchev (2G, 1A) wired home his tenth, Gavin Bruinsma (1G, 2A) added another on the man advantage, and Emmett Rumbold (3G, 3A) took over the final two minutes of the period with a natural hat‑trick that stretched the lead to 7–1 after twenty. Asher Rogachevsky (2G) tried to spark St. George’s with goals late in the first and early in the second, but Yale’s depth kept coming in waves: Jack Hagen (1G, 1A) restored the six‑goal cushion, Valchev added his second, and Max Nicholson (1G) capped the scoring midway through the third. Yale’s power play finished 3‑for‑5, while Landon Rivas (22/24) handled the quieter end of the ice. St. George’s split their goaltending after a relentless first‑period barrage, but the momentum never shifted as Yale completed another emphatic win.
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (3) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (5) U18 Prep
RINK Winnipeg looked like they were on their way to another statement win after a three‑goal first period, but Prairie Hockey Academy flipped the entire script over the final forty minutes, storming back with five unanswered to take a 5–3 victory in a game that swung hard on special teams and momentum. Graham Gard (1G) opened the scoring midway through the first, and back‑to‑back power‑play goals from Keegan Bragnalo (1G) and Dylan Russell (1G) had RHAW up 3–0 and in full control after twenty. PHA needed a spark, and they got it early in the second: Seamus Dillon (1G, 2A) buried a power‑play marker at 3:52, Tristan Hoko (1G) tied it 27 seconds later, and Lincoln Eaves’ (1G, 1A) fifth of the year, also on the man advantage, completed a stunning three‑goal surge that erased the deficit before the period was half over. Prairie kept pushing in the third as Brady Keith (1G, 1A) gave them their first lead 6:04 into the frame, and Trey Bohlken’s (1G) ninth of the season, another power‑play strike, sealed the comeback with 6:10 remaining. Prairie finished 3‑for‑3 on the power play, while Drake Mooney (30/33) shut the door after the shaky first.
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (5/OT) vs Delta Hockey Academy Black (4) U15
RINK Winnipeg survived a wild momentum swing and needed overtime to do it, edging Delta Black 5–4 in a game that felt like it had three different storylines stitched together. Delta struck first through Wynn Carey (1G), but RHA Winnipeg answered with a three‑goal burst in a six‑minute span, Caleb Church (1G) tying it, Brock Labelle (2G, 1A) giving them the lead, and Ryan Koenig (1G) finishing a clean passing play late in the period to make it 3–1 after twenty. Bentley Gillis (1G, 1A) pulled Delta within one late in the second, but Jax Fellner (1G, 1A) restored the two‑goal cushion just 64 seconds into the third as RINK Winnipeg looked ready to close it out. Delta had other plans: Weston Patrick (1G) cut the lead to one at 9:00, and Easton Isfeld (1G, 1A) buried the equalizer with 1:40 left to force overtime after a relentless third‑period push. In the extra frame, Labelle (2G, 1A) on a breakaway snapped home the winner at 2:48, sealing a hard‑earned victory. Cooper Beardy (35/39) held firm through Delta’s late surge, while Ray Baran (19/24) battled through nine RINK Winnipeg power plays in a special‑teams‑heavy matchup.
Edge School (3) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (5) U17 Prep
Edge and SAHA traded punches all night, but South Alberta landed the heavier blows when it mattered, skating away with a 5–3 win that snapped Edge’s two‑game head‑to‑head streak and flipped the script from the night before. SAHA struck twice in the first, Eric Schrock (1G, 1A) opening the scoring before Carter Gilchrist (1G) buried a power‑play marker late in the period, only for Luke McGuire (2G) to claw one back in the final minute to keep Edge within reach. The second period mirrored the first: Oakland Black (1G) restored the two‑goal cushion on the man advantage, and Edge answered again with a late power‑play strike from Jacob Kuntz (1G) to make it 3–2 heading into the third. McGuire tied the game with his 14th of the season midway through the final frame, but SAHA had the last surge. Madden Wright (1G) put them ahead with 2:22 remaining, and Dalin Nixon (1G) sealed it with four seconds left after Edge pressed with the goalie pulled. Shots finished nearly even at 36–35, but SAHA’s went 2‑for‑3 on the power play which proved the difference in a tight matchup.
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (4) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (2) U18 Prep
RINK Kelowna kept their grip on the top of the division with a composed, methodical 4–2 win over OHA. Rhett Tubello (1G) opened the scoring just 2:18 in on a power‑play, but OHA answered with a man‑advantage goal of their own from Luke Assi (1G, 1A) to even things up. The turning point came early in the second: with RHA Kelowna shorthanded, Ryan Sadovia (1G) jumped on a loose puck and raced in alone to score his 12th of the season, flipping momentum instantly. Less than a minute later, Carson Smith (1G, 1A) doubled the lead with a clean finish off a neutral‑zone turnover, giving RHA Kelowna a 3–1 cushion. Ben Fragle (1G) pulled OHA within one midway through the frame, but RINK Kelowna’s structure held firm, and Reid Rabinovitch (1G) restored the two‑goal lead on a power play at 8:03 of the third to put the game out of reach. Asher Netherton (22/24) delivered a calm, efficient performance behind a team that controlled the shot clock 38–24, while Linden Sobocan (34/38) kept OHA competitive despite the pressure.
South Alberta Hockey Academy (6) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (1) Female U18 Prep
South Alberta Hockey Academy smothered Northern Alberta Xtreme from puck drop to buzzer, dictating every inch of ice in a 6–1 statement that felt even more lopsided than the score. The shot clock alone told the story: a 66–9 avalanche that never let NAX breathe, and SAHA’s top players feasted because of it. Kamryn Reiber (2G, 1A) and Sara Murdoch (1G, 2A) set the tone early, carving through coverage with ease, and once Teagan Torgerson (3G) got rolling, the game tilted completely, her natural hat trick stretched across the final forty minutes and turned the night into a clinic. Riley Bourque (3A) quietly orchestrated everything with three primary setups and SAHA’s depth simply overwhelmed a NAX group stuck defending for survival. Even the lone NAX goal came shorthanded against the run of play, a brief flicker in a game otherwise owned by SAHA’s pace, structure, and relentlessness. This was a team imposing its identity and doing it for a full sixty.
Edge School vs BWC Academy (3) U15
BWC Academy came out flying and built a three‑goal cushion before Edge had even found its footing, striking early through Owen Chapman (1G, 1A), then doubling the lead on a smooth finish from Chase Henderson (1G), and capping the period with Logan Hooper (1G) burying a power‑play marker. Edge refused to fold, clawing back in the second when Josh Pomeroy (1G) hammered home a late power‑play goal that finally cracked BWC’s rhythm. The third turned into a tense push‑and‑pull, Edge pressing with urgency and BWC trying to hang on, and with the clock bleeding out Satoshi Takeda (1G) wired one home at 19:38 to make it a one‑goal game and set up a frantic finish. Despite the late surge, BWC’s early burst held up as the difference, sealing a 3–2 win.
Delta Hockey Academy (8) vs STAR Hockey Academy (0) U15 Prep
Mazen Green set the tone of the game just 18 seconds in as he scored his 15th goal of the season. It was all Delta the rest of the way as they outshot STAR 59-9 in an 8-0 beatdown. Ronan Gow (1G, 2A) led all skaters with three points while Carson Brown (1G, 1A), Jake Dunlop (1G, 1A), Woojin Seo (1G, 1A), Eli Vickers (1G, 1A), and Colby Walker (1G, 1A) all had a goal and an assist. Jace Zemanek (9/9) made nine saves for the shutout.
Northern Alberta Xtreme (8) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (4) U15
Power play goals by Yukon Kim (1G, 3A) and Stratton Bruun gave NAX a 2-0 lead after 20. Luke Bowes (2G) got Pacific Coast on the board 2:02 into the second but it was countered by a Malik Flynn (1G, 1A) goal with 12 seconds left, giving NAX a 3-1 lead heading into the third. The offence for both teams would click in the final 20 as NAX started with four goals in the opening 8:02 with Mason Zimmer (2G, 1A) and Alex Reinhardt (1G, 2A) scoring once and Ayden Bouchard (2G) scoring twice. Gus Steeves (2G, 1A) halted the run 1:34 later with his 24th of the season, beating Marek Swanson (28/32) midway through the third. Zimmer added his second of the game a few minutes later giving NAX a commanding 8-2 lead. Bowes and Steeves added late goals for Pacific Coast to make it a more respectable score line but the visitors ultimately doubled-up the home side in Calgary.
OHA Edmonton (5) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (3) U15 Prep
Austin Rideout (1G, 1A) hit double digit goals on the season 1:30 into the game as OHA Edmonton grabbed an early 1-0 lead. Macen Ibach (1G, 1A) responded with a power play goal for SAHA midway through the frame before Erik Miller and Kovann Chisholm traded even strength goals to close out the opening period. Having outshot SAHA 22-5 in the first, OHA Edmonton would keep that momentum rolling into the second, outshooting the home side 22-3. Micah Montgomery and Artello Forestal (2G) broke through for OHA Edmonton 1:30 apart early in the frame and Forestal added a power play goal less than three minutes later. Rowan Oddie would get one back for SAHA midway through the second as they cut into the deficit heading into the third. Connor Phillips (9/12) and Patrick Curtis (50/55) kept clean sheets in the third as the game ended 5-3 in favour of OHA Edmonton.
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (10) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (1) Female U18 Prep
It was all RHA Kelowna in this one as they outshot OHA 48-21 en route to a 10-1 win in the last game of the night. Alida Korte (3G, 1A) and Hayley McDonald (3G, 1A) each recorded hat-tricks while Jillian McLaughlin and Kennedy Sisson (1G, 3A) tied them for the team lead with four points. Makenna Brassard ruined the Jaya Schippel (20/21) shutout bid with 2:19 remaining, scoring on the power play for OHA.
